Participating farmers will receive cleaned yield data and mapping showing patterns in crop yields, including areas of consistently low yield. We will use this to create bespoke farm plans showing opportunities for environmental enhancement on low yielding areas, including woodland planting, creation of pollinator and wild bird habitat, water resource protection and natural flood management.
Farm yield network
We are working with farmers to analyse large volumes of precision yield and input data to determine how factors such as soil, climate, landscape, diversity of beneficial species and management affect yield performance and resilience over time.
